Abstract
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the description of the creation of the voluptuary buildings (including the ruined ones) in the Valtice manor in the years 1817-1820. The focus is on the materials (from the princely manor) and on the interventions of John I. Joseph, Prince of Lichtenstein, in the final appearance of the buildings, who brought new income (Adamov, Merino sheep, etc.) into the princely treasury and illuminated the creation of the landscape compositions of the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape (Lednice-Valtice area; which was celebrated immediately after its completion). Due to its uniqueness, the Lednice-Valtice area was included in the list of monuments protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
