As the Liechtenstein-Czech Historical Commission points out in the synthesis report "Liechtenstein-Czech Relations in History and the Present", there are important research desiderata despite the broad-based studies. The current state of research and the work presented to date open up the possibility of building on the scientific findings of the Commission and investigating all areas in greater depth. These areas relate not only to the Liechtenstein family, but generally to the contextual research of events, phenomena, processes or even individuals since the early modern period. Questions relating to Czech-Liechtenstein relations in the 20th and 21st centuries are also of particular and current interest.
