The master‘s thesis deals with the relation of the Anabaptists and the Moravian nobility on the basis of the provincial law sources. Regarding four different parts (negotiations of land diets, taxes, complaints and arguments, events after 1620) the thesis attempts to define the Anabaptists‘ status in the provincial law, which was greatly formed by the interaction of the Anabaptists and the Moravian nobility. This relation turned out to be a key element of the Anabaptists‘ activity in Moravia, for it was mainly thanks to the protection of the Moravian noblemen, that the provincial law dealt with the Anabaptists, generally considered to be „the social outsiders“, in a much more conciliatory way.
