LIECHTENSTEIN STATE ARCHIVES IN VADUZ

The Liechtenstein National Archives are the state archives of the Principality of Liechtenstein. It documents the activities of the state, preserves and secures the documents of the authorities and makes them accessible. It has the most important foundations for Liechtenstein-related historical, cultural, social and legal research.

The National Archives contain the archives of the former Liechtenstein Deanery, the House Archives of the Princes of Liechtenstein (partly in Vienna and Vaduz) and the archives of the former Domain Administration. The National Archives also operate an online platform called E-archiv.li, where selected archive material is available online. Family and company archives are generally not accessible to the public.
