Abstract
This work is not about the new findings about the Valtice dominion established by the Princes of Liechtenstein, nor about some important personalities of this already South Moravian town. Rather, the basis of the work is a look at the history of Valtice through its architecture and the influence of the (ruling) Princes of Liechtenstein on individual buildings. However, the focus of the work is on summarizing and revising the comparative historical findings in a proposal for a "regional textbook" based on the framework and educational plans for grammar schools and individual key competencies. The "regional textbook" is aimed at pupils in the upper grades of grammar schools.
