Abstract
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the effects of the confiscation on the House of Zierotin and the House of Liechtenstein after the White Mountain, with a particular focus on certain individuals. The Zierotins are assigned the role of the emigrating victim, while the Liechtensteiners are the successors to the confiscated Zierotin estates. This work also presents the most important representatives of the above-mentioned houses and their mutual relationships. It focuses primarily on Ladislav Velen of Zierotin, whose estates were confiscated, and on Karel of Liechtenstein, who considerably increased his possessions with their funds.
