ANNOTATION:
Historical and historical work, dedicated to the activities of the Hohenems family in Bystré u Polička. It is a family connected with the House of Liechtenstein in many ways, especially with regard to its many years of activity in Voralerberg, Schellenberg and Vaduz.
The author is a graduate of the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University, majoring in Czech language - history. He is interested in regional history and literature. He is the author of numerous publications and articles on regional topics.
The present publication is divided into several basic parts. It deals with the history of Bystrý u Polička before the arrival of the Hohenems. In the next chapter it gives basic information about the history of this family. The core of the work is then devoted to the six most important personalities of the family in the two stages of the modern era (Jakub Hanibal III. Bedřich, 1653-1730; František Vilém Rudolf, 1686-1756; František Vilém III. Maximilian, 1692-1759; Maria Rebecca Josefa, 1742-1828; Arnostka of Langet, 1804-1868.
