Mgr. Tomáš Dvořák, Ph.D., works in the Department of History, Faculty of Philosophy, Masaryk University. As a historian, he specializes in political and social change in the post-World War II period, with a focus on policies toward national minorities and ethnically ambivalent groups, issues of internal expulsions, and labor policy within broad social and cultural contexts. He also studies social development at the municipal level, contributing to several projects on the histories of specific settlements (e.g., Brno, Znojmo, Mikulov).
