As the Czech-Liechtenstein Commission of Historians points out in the summary report "Czech-Liechtenstein Relations Past and Present.", that significant research gaps persist despite comprehensive studies. The current state of research and the work presented to date open up the possibility of building on the scientific findings of the Commission and investigating all areas in greater depth. These areas relate not only to the House of Liechtenstein, but generally to the contextual research of events, phenomena, processes or even individuals since the early modern period. Questions relating to Czech-Liechtenstein relations in the 20th and 21st centuries are also of particular and current interest.
