Abstract
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the impact confiscation had on the House of Zierotin and the House of Liechtenstein after White Mountain, with a special focus on specific persons. Zierotins are casted to a role of emigrating victims, while Liechtensteins are successing confiscated Zierotíns' estates. This thesis also includes an introduction of the most significant representatives of the above named houses and their mutual relations. It focuses mainly on Ladislav Velen of Zierotin whose estates were confiscated and Karel of Liechtenstein who significantly extended his property by their means.
