Mgr. Tomáš Dvořák, Ph.D. works at the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy at Masaryk University. As a historian, he specializes in changes in politics and society in the period after the Second World War, specifically in policies towards national minorities and ethnically ambivalent groups, the problem of so-called internal expulsions or labour policies in a broad social and cultural context. He also deals with social developments at the level of individual municipalities and towns as part of several completed or ongoing projects on the history of individual settlements (e.g. Brno, Znojmo, Mikulov).
