PhDr. Eliška Fučíková, CSc. is an art historian. Her long-term research focuses in particular on art at the court of Emperor Rudolf II. In the Czech-Liechtenstein Commission of Historians, she deals with the role of art and the art collections of the House of Liechtenstein.
Eliška Fučíková has received numerous international awards for her academic work, including the Gottfried von Herder Prize (1998),
institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Fine Art Commission in London. She has also been a recipient of the French Order Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts since 2003.
